Okay, so what is HIGH Day anyway?

First off HIGH day is offered by the Lambton Homeschool Support group (LHSG), but it is not run by the group. This means that you do not have to be a member of the LHSG to participate in HIGH day.

Our vision for HIGH Day is to provide a common place for Homeschoolers to be able to get together and fellowship, to be a support system, and a place where our children can learn and grow. As homeschoolers we desire our children to be exposed to some of the same opportunities that schooled children do, such as team sports and learning to work together with other children their age, as well as giving our children the opportunity to be taught a variety of different interests, by different people.

HIGH Day stands for Homeschoolers in Gods Hands and this is what we desire to be reflected to our children, in and through HIGH Days. HIGH Day is an extension of our homeschool.

We desire HIGH Days to be a place for us to have as a foundation, not only as a learning experience, but as a reflection of who we serve and who we purpose to fashion our lives after, Jesus Christ.

How do we go about doing this? HIGH Day is a co-op and as such it is organized, planned, and run by the parents. We currently run three sessions each year, on each in fall, winter and spring. Each session runs 8 weeks.

HIGH Day runs from 9:00 to 12:30 every Monday morning and offers three classes to students ages 3 to 16+. We provide a nursery for those children 0 to 2 years old as well so that the whole family may be involved in HIGH day.
